Hey all, you may have noticed it's been a bit quiet around here. There's a number of factors that have forced us to close the doors for a while and we'd like to thank you all for being so patient and for all the offers of support, particularly over the last week with all the media exposure around our closure. We're trying to decide what the future holds for this ever expanding movement of the commons in Newcastle, its resources and y'all, the legendary humans that make up this growing creative community. We're ready to throw it out there to you all to bring your ideas, resources, dreams, mad skillz and selves to a bit of a catchup at The Commons at 6.30pm, Dec 6th. We'll explain in more detail what's been happening and then scheme together some ways we might go forward. This will be the first of several events like this, with a more formal consultation coming up next year once we have had time to meet/connect/scheme and research some of the ideas we come up with. Please share this invitation to anyone who has passion to be part of/support the building of a movement and pool of community owned and operated resources in an urban commons in Newcastle and beyond. โœŒ๏ธโœŠ๏ธ ...

We need to be closed for a little while longer as the load of running the space is becoming pretty heavy to bear for our small team. Please send good wishes our way while we sort things out. Watch this space for future updates. ...
